Poulet is an experimental French restaurant opened by the Thai Express Group. It is an open-concept restaurant accompanied with a casual dining scene. Most items on Poulet's menu is under $15 and the food is worth every cent spent. Poulet's appetizers are mostly below $10 and the main courses range from $8~ $16. The star dish (Poulet Half Chicken) is priced at $15.80. The whole chicken ($28.80) is served in a ceramic ovenware and is stuffed with spinach and dressed with a generous serving of mushroom chardonnay sauce. The skin of the chicken is crisp and does not turn soggy even when soaked. The best part of this dish is that the chicken is tender and cooked to perfection.

However, we do have some negative thoughts on Poulet. The vegetables did not go well with the chicken and the fries were cooked unevenly. The fries were almost under-cooked and it was tasteless. Also, service was really bad and disappointing. Lastly, we ended our dinner off with the dessert speciality: Tiramisu ($7.80). The coffee taste was strong and aromatic. We recommend this star dessert and eating it with big scoops to allow the soaked sponge finger, mascarpone cheese and alcohol to work their magic on your taste buds. Overall, Poulet is a great place for a casual dinner with a nice ambiance.
